here's a better summary of the chapter.

- so emily (in obama's body) is having a hard time trying to repeat what obama (in emily's body) says. all of the broken speech doesnt bother the hardcore gatherers for this speech though. sora is not too happy about this broadcast, and obama (in emily's body) takes over to convey how sick this planet is and how the ones to cause this serious illness is humans (relating them to a virus). emily (in obama's body) hates having to suffer through being in each other's body, which obama is fully taking advantage of. obama-emily hands it off to emily-obama again and says how there's a solution to the problems on earth, which in essence is air treck, and that there is a group of 'cruel' people who are trying to monopolize this (aka sora). basically, obama makes a ploy to make air treck and its technology a free/public resource

- at the factory, konomi is talking with ami and thanking her for sending the feed since their communication has been cut off due to the jammer. konomi commends ami's ability to send that stuff despite the jammer, and ami says that its just her forte (we see her jacked into a hardline public phone) and she further explains how it works... konomi realizes she should have expected nothing less from the team's no.1 hacker.

- kururu comes running over to konomi, freaking out konomi (and ami) since she wasn't even wearing her sc suit. kururu just is wondering if ami noticed anthing from ikki's a-ts (since ami watched the battle) since he did that trick. even though kururu knows that she did as much maintenence she could before the battle, she's worried that those parts are already at their limit and about to break apart (since she knows the extent of ikki's abilities; the parts are not able to keep up with ikki and eventually break). rune sneaks in and asks how long till the storm regalia is finished, and kana answers that they are still in the process of disassembling the rumble regalia parts. kururu is bummed since it probably won't be finished till tomorrow morning. konomi berates kururu for trying to do this by herself, and the rest of ttt offer their help (all donning their sc suits now). its only afterwards that they realize they've forgotten about rune (since he's a guy) and two members drag him off but rune says his last bit about how its good that they are hurrying this along because a battle has already started in the tower.

- in the shaft, kanon is strumming his a-t guitar weapon, and its soundwaves shoot out in an attack against ringo. it rips through the floor with ease (now we know why kanon was able to stop gabi and om when they attacked sora way back when). ringo evades and she questions kanon for his actions, which kanon only replies with him wanting to hear ringo 'sing out with her best scream'...

so kanon is doing one of three things that i can imagine, 1. he's hurting her so she can't compete thereby saving her life, 2. he's still pissed that ringo never took him as a tuner seriously (never getting a proper tuning for her regalia), 3. he's been on sora's side for some time and this was all part of sora's plan that he feels confident enough to take the rest of sf alone (since the real threat will be taken out, aka ringo). the obama/emily parts was a bit funny, and of course we get loads of helpings to fanservice from the ttt girls in their sc suits.

Summary by Suarhnir:
oyos

so it looks like the focus will shift to rescuing rika. aeon is full of more surprises and sora is still being sora. on a potentially big revelation on the plot, paper airplane guy wants to have a chat with ikki.

- pyon and caesar drop into the makeshift base camp of genesis near the tower. they have some news to deliver to sora, but he's currently occupied and getting pissed off with a shougi game he's playing. pyon berates sora for playing around at a time like this and asks if he's been watching the tv (pyon's is addressed by a soldier as 'lt. getorix'; its the end part of vercingetorix which is orca's real name... make whatever assumptions you like about how the naming scheme is done). sora says he wasn't but he didn't need to see it to know that koga won their match.

- aeon goes before ikki and ikki complains of aeon being 2 minutes late. aeon apologizes but he also had to organize the other jets that would carry koga to their next destination. aeon also informs ikki of doing a trace on the transmission sent to sf of rika and estimated that with the planes they have, they should arrive at her whereabouts in 20 minutes. kazu greets aeon and then notices that he's wearing the flame regalia... then proceeds to attack aeon, who dodges with ease, for taking his regalia (sora apparently doesn't care that aeon is using them, or he just doesn't need them right away...) ikki notices something wrong with his a-ts as agito comments how sora should be the most scared of ikki's 'storm' since inside the windless barrier, sora's wind regalia will be useless (it looks like agito is finally bandaged up from his injuries he did to himself earlier against thor). ikki just continues examining his a-ts.

- caesar announces how koga will now be heading to where rika is being held, and while sora teases him, he contines on to say where which is on the aircraft carrier 'colonel sanders' (aka kfc old guy), which also is serving as the genesis grav kids' main base of operations. caesar pulls out a chair behind pyon (which was actually or himself, and pyon gets mad over it when she thought he was trying to be a gentleman) and says how sora's 'reading' is good and also has the brains to not lose just as kiric does. what they (genesis) is most afraid of is a union between sf and koga. pyon also adds how aeon moved cleverly (so they do know that aeon is helping koga now), and how sf has remained in the tower as koga is heading to the aircraft carrier. its because of this (now realized) possibility that all of the grav kids in genesis (with the exception of the sora, pyon, and caesar) have remained on the aircraft carrier. pyon gets worried because it means that sora would be going in alone, but sora isn't concerned because he can handle it himself and shows off his mecha legs (why do i feel like they can do more than act as legs... thinking back to sleipnir's weapons).

- sora than asks why they came out to him in person, pyon then pulls out her ipod nano wannabe to show a recording of obama (he's supposed to be called omaha, but we all know its actually obama; also note how emily is next to him- they probably are still in eachothers bodies and obama in emily's body is relaying what to be said). this video shocks sora but we don't get what is actually being said.

- ikki is hopping into his plane and notices the paper airplane guy piloting. the paper airplane guy says that he wants to discuss something with ikki. nakayama is rushing over (giving everyone's bag back which has spare stuff and food) and talks a bit with agito as she gives him his bag. agito is brushing off nakayama's concern and tells her to believe in 'us'. this confuses agito as to why he said 'us' instead of 'me' and nakayama accepts that. ikki gets on the comm and tells koga to that its not a match they are going to, but war.

well... that's some gamble on sora's part. he was gonna take sf on by himself, but that now means that koga will be facing genesis... what the hell is up with koga going through these battles back to back?

om-f**in-g, i can't believe how freyja was taken out. and the koga pose ver.2 was quite funny especially with nakayama and nobunaga partaking.

- so there's quite a bit of explanation here from scarab, detailing how freyja had been taken out. scarab makes the example of a bottle and a strand of hair, how when placed inside the bottle the hair doesn't move but with a strong shockwave/vibration, the hair will move. what onigiri did that ultimately beat freyja was with his 'smells' and before being taken out himself, managed to get freyja to breathe in a substantial amount, but it wasn't until being hit with the repelled grand fang fire bird by buccha did it 'move inside her' thereby incapacitating her (there's a simplistic diagram of onirigi smells inside lungs to further illustrate this).

- the wind starts blowing again, and we see sleipnir being picked up by a boat. though they are defeated, sleipnir are satisfied with this battle. freyja finally comes to and coughs out the 'onigiri smells' (frightening even thor and nott-dagr). freyja goes on about how she would like to fly with koga and with sleipnir again (not in battle, but just 'for fun'). its funny to note that when she coughs again, all of the guys back off quickly in fear of 'onigiri smells'.

- paper airplane guy calls out that its not completely over yet. kazu wonders what happened to buccha but agito answers that buccha was taken out but is not displeased about it since he took jiggy with him. jiggy is complimenting buccha and asking him to join his gym/dojo. when jiggy's shute is seen up close, we see buccha being carried by jiggy. jiggy admits that on his own he can't match up to koga.

- taeko and aeon are flying overhead in their jet. taeko mentions how they didn't make it in time to help, but aeon thinks about ikki's declaration of finishing in 5 minutes... aeon clocked it at 4min 30sec. koga (even agito, not akito) with nakayama and nobunaga do the classic koga pose during a victory lap on the remaining planes. with this victory, koga advances into the semifinals.

the onigiri smells scare me... at this rate, the #1 thing i never want to be trapped in a room with... it would definitely be onigiri. i do find it lame that they didn't even show anything with how jiggy. i mean, yay that buccha was the one to do it but they totally glossed it over. well, there's no real indication as to which battle will be focused on first... saving rika or the upcoming battle between sf and genesis...

AIR GEAR GOT BETTER?! QUIT TROLLING
i am tired

it seems the suspended disbelief has run its course and now all the physics and logic we have been discussing thus far are finally taking effect. all of this results in 2 more players retiring from the match and some good old fashion onigiri pervertedness...

- a little flashback is shown with paper airplane guy with some kids and loki, all throwing the paper airplanes with the advertisement of the koga vs. jiggy match. loki tells his group of kids that a good wind will be coming and to release their planes on his signal. the planes fly off and the kids thank loki for his help. loki and the paper airplane talk for a bit and loki mentions how this battle will be the last for 'sleipnir' and afterwards they will disband (loki will continue his search but not as a stormrider).

- back to the fight, loki and ikki are falling as everyone watches on. ikki and loki still try to last longer than the other by jumping higher with the plane debris (a chicken race of sorts). loki is excited in this last ditch effort against ikki to keep aloft longer than the other, and he comes to realize that the 'wind' he needs to fly has always been within himself. he then calls out to freyja to help him with a pincer attack on ikki, but finds out that she had been taken out and is simply falling. there was some more detailed instructions left to onigiri by kiric which further involved freyja and onigiri ends up finding his way between scarab's legs. onigiri is swiftly dealt with by leo and the lion, and leo comments about how accurate of instructions were given to have such a follow thru to the end (aka kiric read pretty far into the battle and even onigiri's short-lived battle was calculated into the later outcome...)

- freyja is still falling and loki chooses to save her over finishing his bout with ikki, but he shows no regrets and pulls his parachute. ikki contiues on up and lands on paper airplane's helicopter.

the battle has pretty much reached its conclusion... but before that, we need to know the fate of jiggy. is he still on his plane? did he fall off right at the beginning? the next chapter will probably tel us.

No.
okies, so apparently it wasn't a simple air cancel trick... it was a storm maker, but they are sitting in the eye of it where the winds are practically non-existent (an exaggeration of what a hurricane is truly like)

- so the observers on the ground are wondering about the sudden stop of the wind. scarab comes to realize that what ikki did was create a hurricane condition of a big enough scale that the surrounding area is currently sitting in the 'eye' of it where the winds are completely calm to the point of not blowing at all... nakayama adds in her two cents by saying how ikki used everyone's strength to pull off this "great storm"

- loki admits to never experiencing something like this and he thinks back to his time at the lab, knowing he's an imposter of the 'heart' he possesses... his wings retract back to the sword form due to the lack of wind and ikki looks at him and asks if he can remember the first time he wore a-t, before ever learning any trick and all you could do was 'walk'. since loki doesn't answer right away, ikki attacks while saying how its sacrilegious of loki to not recall that. ikki's attack breaks loki's sword and sends him flying.

- loki thinks over his experience and slowly begins to find a bit of something that he's been searching for; he's never been satisfied before no matter how strong a wind there was, yet in this 'wind graveyard' he feels like his body is becoming like feathers when he takes just a step. loki's feelings are reflected in the little girl with the pinwheel who at first took the ever present breezes to spin her pinwheel, then getting more excited again when it starts spinning again (from her running?).

so... not much of a conclusion to this fight so far, but ikki gave loki an 'answer' by forcing him to experience 'starting out'. puru...

Not too sure about this one.
i'm not gonna really bother summarizing this... its more or less self explanatory. here's at least the highlights of the chapter:

- aeon is still on his way, worrying over the worst for nothing.
- agito and kazu's combo attack hits freyja's tornado (don't know if its the same one from before or a new one)
-buccha uses himself as a wall to repel the the grand fang firebird which causes a particular effect that ikki uses in his trick
-ikki's trick cancels out all the wind in the area.

ikki's new move can very well screw over sora who relies on wind...

asdlfkjadoiasdf....>_< one month of waiting when we were right in the middle of ikki's ultimate new trick... and all we get is the finale of kazu and agito's battle. wtf!! the kazu and agito team up was rather cool, but that's kinda not what most of us were waiting for this past month... oh well, here we go on summary:

- thought i just mention the fanservice color, whoever out there said that there would be a color of freyja in her panties... well, you were kinda right. the other color spread with koga was kinda neat too with their fashionable wardrobe.

- ikki has yet to unleash his new limit break- i mean ultimate trick on loki and freyja. there's some obvious commentary from paper airplane guy. it seems that freyja has to maintain the tornado trick which is called "nibelheim blizzard". then we cut away from that battle to go see how agito is doing...

- agito unleashes a "bloody road: saucer crush" on thor at point blank since he can't use his vaccuum trick at such close range. this attack effectively cuts into his legs at the knee area. agito comments how thor's vaccuum has the same principles as the fang then follows with a threat of taking him out with his fang in 5 seconds if he doesn't just jump off now. nakayama shares her observations concerning how agito has changed and we quickly jump back to plane #9 as agito counts down. thor tries talking it out but agito keeps counting down, so thor admits defeat since agito/akito is stronger, but he starts that little tune that sleipnir as signals and uses his fists to push off the plane and jump up to nott-dagr's, which happened to fly by at that moment. thor goes on about how its still his team's win though.

- nott-dagr welcomes thor onto his plane and turns his attention back to kazu whom he informs that its now 2 vs. 1, but after looking around, kazu is seen on plane #9 with agito. in the backgroud, we see the pilot of nott-dagr and thor's plane drifting along in his parachute. kazu comments on the wait agito had to endure for their strategy, but agito says that he's matured (so everything up till now on kazu and agito's side of the fight was part of the strategy...) and he activates his regalia. a little flashback is shown of kiric mentioning how freyja and loki were the only ones who could fly for long distances aka thor and nott-dagr are screwed if they don't have a plane to ride on. agito and kazu perform their first and rather badass combo attack called "grand fang fire bird" and utterly destroy the plane that thor and nott-dagr were riding but the two manage to muster enough strength to make one last attack, charging directly at kazu and agito's plane. unfortunately the two sleipnir members pass right through, and kazu calmly apologizes for ripping off nott-dagr's trick in making his own illusion with a'flame lens. well, thor and nott-dagr fall and are forced to use their parachutes and retire from the fight.

so... yeah, that's that. now where the hell is ikki's new trick!!!! for the life of me, why did o!g just do that!? you know what it reminds me of, the bleach anime where they put in random filler arcs in the middle of the current arc (because they fail and can't think far enough ahead to realize that they will catch up to the manga too soon). rawr!! >_< puru!!

well f**k. this battle is turning into the stage of montyoum's dead fantasy 2 where everyone fought inside a hurricane. and what the hell is with the equipment of sleipnir!? is that seriously allowed in a-t battles? i think its a bit too much to be acceptable... whatever. oh, and finally kanon has reached an all time creepiness.

- loki unleashes his sword's flying form... its a pair of wings. wtf!? loki asks ikki where its ok for them to fly? meanwhile, the rest of the spectators are in awe. paper airplane guy equates loki's new appearance with "god's angel descended from the heaven(lit:sky)." buccha is startled as well but ikki says that it's not that special cause he can do it too, saying that loki's riding the current leaving the nose of the plane. freyja initiates an attack (while apologizing to the pilot) and loki still asks ikki where they can fly if not here.

- freyja's attack causes a typhoon (hurricane's in the pacific ocean are called typhoons, while in the atlantic its hurricane... don't ask me why they differentiate this) and it rips the plane apart. tis called "dance of the einherhar's sword" and it looks pretty badass. in the eye of the storm, loki and freyja uses their respective equipment to hover above ikki and buccha. buccha is having too much trouble keeping stable footing with the plane debris and ikki had to defend him from an attack by loki. loki with his wings flies around dbz-esque after dodging ikki's counter punch. ikki couldn't track loki's speed and ends up getting hit by loki's next attack "muspellzheimr's shining wind" (muspellzheimer is the fiery realm that existed before all creation in norse mythology)

- ikki talks about how taking along someone who can't fly is pretty much a weight that will break his wings. nobunaga who is (now mysteriously) next to scarab concludes that buccha is dead weight now and should just drop out of the battle. buccha is now miserable at knowing in this situation how useless he is on the team (i don't see why he should think that way when onigiri is worse than him...) ikki however retorts that buccha is mistaken, saying that buccha is necessary for the sake of winning. he also threatens buccha with all of his meals being some mandagora bowl if he should purposefully fall. now i'm wondering who ikki was referring to earlier.

- ikki takes another attack from loki, and thinks back to loki's question. ikki thinks about what's more important is returning to regain something that was forgotten (lit: that person; don't know if its rika or ringo) ikki's inner monologue shifts to ringo, who's looking at the photo of the family when they were kids. ringo thinks about who she was pointing to, thinking that maybe it was at the one taking the photo who could be ikki's... (relative/dad maybe?) kanon makes his very animated and musical entrance, saying he's brought ringo's new regalia as well as saying how ringo's finally come to accept him (as her tuner i guess). ringo corrects him saying that she's only doing this for the sake of winning (she's still holding out for ikki apparently...) and will go ahead with a real tuning. kanon gets all creepy at this point which makes ringo nervous. kanon says that if she does the tuning, she'd become stronger...

- back to ikki, he calls sleipnir on their weak way of flying and if there's somewhere they want to go then they should go on their own (instead of relying on him). loki is more intrigued with ikki. buccha notices ikki readying a trick and there's a little flashback of kururu wondering about ikki's constant use of his right leg... ikki is about to unleash his attack when he retorts to sleipnir that he will fly to the ends of the world (cause he wants to, whether or not others will let him ... cause that's just the way ikki is.)

so there will be a 3 issue break... this equals 4 weeks of waiting because this issue is a double issue. i can't tell if kanon is being just creepy but still well meaning or if he's turned traitor and will take out or weaken ringo. its all so confusing right now... and even worse, we have to wait a whole freakin' month just to see what happens next.

Not too sure about this one.

so now we get to see how everyone else is doing, even nakayama and the two underclassmen. there's some other 'special' spectators as well.

- nott-dagr is chanting in norse and 'summoning' some creatures. black smoke covers plane #10 (kazu and nott-dagr's plane) and some creatures appear, surrounding kazu. nott-dagr is impressed that he hadn't jumped off in fright, saying how this is boring, and kazu tells him how 'afro black wizard' (nott-dagr) using the wind lens and figurines. mentally, kazu says that he would have jumped if kiric hadn't told him about the trick.

- nott-dagr compliments kazu by saying how he likes people who are smart. he then comments about his trick is effective in deception, to which a fake body sneaks up behind kazu, to which he dispels quickly. kazu realizes that nott-dagr had made an image of himself as well but is already hit by the multiple images of nott-dagr before he can act. the multiple nott-dagr images are talking amongst themselves as to who among them is the real one, though they also keep in mind that they should be careful with kazu since he's the flame king as well as his 'time' tricks which could prove to be disadvantageous to them. kazu can't distinguish the voices so he can't pinpoint the real one so he does his own 'kage-bunshin' aka 'flame clones' as dubbed by nobunaga(?) to match the nott-dagr images.

- nakayama is checking her watch for the time (why the hell does she need to, being a tuner and all). the underclassmen with the laptop asks her why she's checking the time, but they should still be ok. nakayama replies that it was nothing and that they shouldn't worry, but to herself she feels that something awful has happened, something has changed. someone comments that onigiri had lost despite his opponent being a girl (wow, other people know that onigiri never lost to a girl before). nakayama feels like that this fight is missing something, relating an analogy of putting together a clock and forgetting one important part.

- paper airplane guy comes in with his helicopter to better view kazu and nott-dagr's fight, commenting on how impressive its become (with the clones) as well as chaotic. kazu is busily taking out each clone and eventually takes out all of them. unfortunately, his legs are beginning to feel its toll. nott-dagr announces himself as to really having been on the underside of the plane the entire time. nott-dagr makes fun of him a bit, which pisses kazu off.

- on the ground team lionheart is commenting on nott-dagr's battle level of 147 probably being fake. they rate his battle level being closer to 95 to 100. the crowd are thinking to themselves how lionheart is here and probably doing reconnaissance on their rivals. one kid nearby asks if they are circus people. lionheart comments that its like poker in which a one pair beats a full house and that victory and defeat is decided by 'heart/spirit'. leo-san (lionheart's leader?) further explains that nott-dagr gets to you little by little, making his opponents 'dwindle' from the pressure and mind games. leo says that nott-dagr manipulates the 'wind of the heart' (this is slightly reminiscent of kazu's fight with aeon during the behemoth match, kazu being pulled along in the 'disappearing trick')

- over with agito and thor, agito had shot out another bloody blade fang but thor grabs it and makes it dissipate. agito is feeling pressured due to thor stopping his strongest fang attack. thor then asks what agito is doing, saying he also has one... 'our companions inside of himself'. agito realizes that thor is referring to 'lind' as well as stating that he's also a brain charger.

- taeko and aeon are heading over (to koga?) by jet plane, though taeko complains that getting there in 5 minutes is impossible, aeon doesn't care. aeon is guessing that sleipnir is likely from their research facility. he says that kiric probably hasn't noticed sleipnir's true form and that everything is going to fall apart for koga. the only way to fix it is with himself and taeko says that with afterburner, they can go up to mach 2.5 and will likely arrive in 7.5 minutes. aeon hopes that ikki hangs in there long enough

- loki and freyja stand over buccha and ikki, loki's brain charger eye clearly visible.

so it seems that all(?) of sleipnir is in fact brain chargers like agito. that certainly changes things, though i'm more surprised that kiric hadn't been able to figure that out... either sleipnir's match against lionheart didn't need them to go 'brain charger' mode or kiric can't calculate brain charger abilities even with his 'gaia road'. aeon seems to be more and more involved in the a-t developement world with every arc as he mentions having ties to a 'research facility' that sleipnir came from or something like that.

yay!! pile tornado + bloody blade fang attack... too bad it kinda missed.

- so paper airplane guy is using his READ to get some info on koga and sleipnir. the other commentator slaps him silly and says something along the lines of being hit for not sharing... anyways, it lists the READ levels of koga and jiggy/sleipnir:
buccha "black pig" 68
ikki "storm king" 117
agito&akito "fang king" 122
onigiri "perverted pig" 36 <-bet you anything, emily's would be higher
kazu "(unofficial) flame king" 89 <- this was the same as aeon's during the behemoth match
thor "wind king" 174
utgarða loki "wind king" 205
freyja "wind king" 136
wacky (jiggy) "???" 71
nott-dagr "wind king" 147

- paper airplane guy is commenting on koga's levels (ikki and kazu are boasting at their respective levels) and how the storm and flame king live up to their titles as kings... he then points out onigiri's low level and being the only one out of place in the team as far as ranking goes. he then points out loki who has a battle level of 205, and that ikki and buccha's levels put together is still not enough to match loki.

- over on aeon's side, is observing the developing situation of it becoming a round robin (players circulate who they go against throughout) type of battle. he goes on about levels and how missing someone like agito will deduct their team level significantly and it'd become an avalanche of decline from there out. taeko mentions that they should just crush the opponent one at a time. aeon agrees and while simple, its also the best choice. he commends the gem king (kiric) for his planning.

- loki makes fun of ikki and buccha by asking if they'd push the 'a' button because the flag won't come up. buccha thinks about it and goes along with it by pushing the imaginary button (wtf!? what's with all these imaginary acts?) ikki is not impressed. taeko asks aeon about their chance of winning, and he says that whoever takes one of the others down first will get the advantage for their team.

- ikki makes the first move and rushes loki just as he draws his sword, dodging the first attack just as buccha comes up behind to do a double team attack. loki blocks this, but it doesn't phase either side. agito seems to be faring well against thor as well as onigiri in his usual perverted way. with freyja's clothes going to shreds, her fan club get all excited. agito and ikki fire off a bloody blade fang and pile tornado respectively towards onigiri and freyja. freyja catches on just in time and even manages to rescue the pilot as she gets out of the line of fire. of course, loki and thor, who were in front of ikki and agito's attack, also got out of the way in time. but onigiri was pretty much screwed (his life/perverted thoughts pass before his eyes)

- koga is a bit concerned for onigiri, and this leaves them at a disadvantage as they lost a teammate (by their own doing). loki is more confident then ever in sleipnir's win, and freyja recovers (along with her fanclub paw-dancing with her). taeko rather unenthusiastically comments that the first person has been taken down (referring back to aeon's earlier statement). aeon is very upset with this... or maybe at taeko for her lack of support for koga.

so onigiri is taken out, which i must say is a first for him given that his opponent was a girl. part of me thinks that maybe onigiri would have been fine on his own... he seemed to be doing ok in my opinion. anyways, ag will be on break for a week and will be back in issue 38.

HERE'S THE LINK

HERE'S THE SUMMARY

so rena chan brought us ag scans this week~! remember to thank them, ok!

- ikki says that he will go to save rika. ringo, who was distressed from earlier is grateful, thinking that she should say more than 'thanks' but ikki likely understands. she gives a (semi imaginary) 'air hug&kiss' to ikki while commenting to herself about her beloved baby-face (ikki) is always there with her and materializing like the wind in times when she wants to be saved... that was a bit cheezy on ringo's part. mikan and ume have no comment while om is totally amused at this little development.

- ikki then starts pondering over how to rejoin the fight... ^^;; well, since koga have their phones connected, everyone else overheard. mikan gets a rather loud transmission, to which point kiric finds the bug in her hair (so it was through this device that koga and sf were talking through). buccha is pissed at this underhanded play by sora. kazu adds in how rika was like a sister to all of them and that she is his close friend's (ikki's) sister. onigiri adds in about rika as his first love as well as kazu's (kazu apparently didn't want that piece of info shared)

- agito calls out to "sulky white sideburns" and asks if he's there as well. kiric actually looks around for someone else by that description only to have mikan point out its him which kiric is flabbergasted by. agito wanted to know sleipnir's weakness, since they've fought once before. ringo is confused because she thought their opponent was supposed to be jiggy. agito tells them to turn on the tv cause it will likely be on cable. mikan is the one to switch channels to the koga vs. jiggy/sleipnir battle.

- ikki tells "white sideburns" (kiric) that while watching the broadcast, he would be able to instruct them on the fight. kiric is shocked at the request, but ikki is serious on the matter. even mikan and ringo are even shocked. agito is pissed at ikki but he counters that agito was gonna ask the same thing. agito however says that there is a procedure to this matter. kiric says its impossible because they're enemies but more importantly, sf and sleipnir never actually battled. om explains that since they are merely "watchmen of the forest", they don't fight teams who are not going after the sky regalia. usually the finals are held in the 'forest' and during that time sf ride along and act as referees. Lionheart was runner-up for the last gst (with sleipnir being the winner)

- ikki asks if they're jealous of him, since sf is probably the ones who want to fly away the most. this gets to kiric and gabi comes over to stop kiric from cutting into himself from holding his fist so tight. kiric demands that koga obey him without question or objection. he won't forgive any mistakes. koga retort in their own ways and kiric regards it as their pledge to do so. though kiric doesn't like the idea, he will allow koga to win. ikki calls kiric the 'strongest helper' and the two do a (semi imaginary) 'air-five'.

- focusing on the koga battle again, the plane to run out of fuel first is #6 which is freyja's. so sleipnir and kiric acknowledge this as the true start of the battle, but ringo butts in suddenly and says they have to do a 'new team formation chant' (i think ringo is just using this as an excuse to make kiric loosen up a bit). kiric is embarrassed and isn't coming up with anything good. ikki just shouts out "30 yr old man! You can't plunder the bible of youth, ass!!" koga roars out and then follow with a "ko! kogarasumaru, bu-koro" (lit: go kogarasumaru! let's beat them to death). kiric actually says it too, though relunctantly out of embarassment. ringo got a kick out of that while the rest of sf look on silently.

the final caption: Beautiful and embarassing, the first sexual experience-<3

this was an unexpected 'tag formation'. i thought it was gonna be koga showing off their own team work, but in the end its going to be kiric using his gaia road ability (or natural strategy prowess) to direct koga in battle. this is gonna be cool, i think. also, i like the chapter cover with the 'devil ringo', if you look at the tail, its also the credits caption.

Not too sure about this one.
Most interesting bits there are that Rika is fully aware of Sora's cold side, and is fully aware that her adopted sisters run Sleeping Forest.
Kanon is incredibly savvy and is on Gabashi's level.

Kirik calls out to Ikki and proposes to help them, seeing that they share a common dilemma.
He yells "Kill 'Em!!"(One of Kogarasumaru's ridiculous battle-cries) for the first time while blushing deeply.

Ringo crying looks straight out of a Shoujo manga. She sends Ikki a vision (dream) of him being kissed on the neck and arms. (not so sure on this part)

Kirik (Sullen white sideburns guy) conducts Kogarasumaru's battle via cable.

Ikki, after finding out the truth, is all the more determined to rescue Rika, even more than Kirik.
When proposing the alliance, Kirik counts to three, hangs his head and mumbles when making the call
"Sa... Santa Fe? Saiko" (trying to patch through to Ikki)
(not so sure about this as well)

Kirik looks cute.

User comments. About Santa Fe being a really popular place for youngsters, and recent child porn problems.

Not too sure about this one.
finally, this week's chapter... almost nothing really happened as far as plot progression goes, not even any fighting from koga's side. talk about lame considering we had to wait two weeks for this chapter since the last.

- creepy creeping brain-jacked commander dude is closing in on poor lil rika. she looks so frightened... well, who wouldn't be with this setup. this is being relayed to sf in the elevator/forest. mikan is increasingly more pissed and getting rough with ringo for her decision. the commander dude and his end of the device is creeping closer 10 cm every 5 minutes. looks like seeing rika's impending doom on the big screen isn't making it easier for mikan to 'not think about rika's existence'. ringo is arguing that there's no way to know if it's just a staged recording with a possible look-alike or that rika is really an ally of sf.

- kiric defends ringo's decision, citing that if they fight while protecting someone, they will be weaker (because they are not fully focused in fighting their opponent). mikan is still pissed and is now telling him off for not telling her sooner about his past relations with sora so that she could have stopped rika and sora getting together. all through this, we the readers discover that mikan has a bug on her, relaying the conversation back to aeon and his little maid minion with a naughty mindset (she literally says: "loud and clear~ getting a hard on"; who she's referring to is beyond me) aeon had placed it on mikan during the time he fondled her...

- naughty maid minion, taeko, offers her master a peek 'down there' as a reward for his cleverness. aeon is completely ignoring her as usual (he ignored/brushed her off in the chapters where she first appears too). aeon comments that even with a hostage, sf would not be lured into fighting outside of that place which sora likely understands and so the true objective is to rattle their nerves. back to sf, kiric is calmly stating that with them arguing about this, they are losing time that they could be using for a briefing. kiric knows that sora is using this to gain a psychological advantage over them for this fight.

- ringo recomposes herself and declares that in 3 hours, she will defeat sora for sure and everything will be settled with that. mikan gives up arguing forcefully, and says that she will quit the team since no one wants to go save her. it still works out in mikan's opinion since its likely to be 5 vs 5 so there'll be 3 left out anyways. ringo and ume try to stop her. gabi and om just let it be, mummy-head finds all of it to be tiring. hitting ringo away, mikan says that she isn't going to save rika just because she's one person. kiric realizes before ringo, but mikan explains that rika is pregnant.

- mikan found a patient's slip for the doctor when she searched her wallet. she knew about rika throwing up and wondered... aeon starts to do something on his end. mikan goes on talking that rika was more like a mother than a sister to them even though they aren't related. mikan wants rika to be happy in becoming a real mother.

- koga is still fighting... well, not really fighting but they are just riding the planes along the course. its been roughly 10 minutes since the start of the battle, so that means one of the planes should be running out of fuel soon. buccha comments that this will go on for an hour and a half more. meanwhile, agito is picking up some broken transmission and yells at the other to speak more clearly, which confuses them. ringo starts the elevator to prevent mikan from leaving. she tells mikan that she has to defeat her if she still wants to leave. ringo, tearfully claims that if mikan leaves alone, then she will be killed.

- ringo mentally pleads to ikki on what to do, at which point ikki responds that if they're decided, then they shouldn't leave. ringo is utterly confused, as is everyone else. ikki says over the phone that he will go and save rika. ikki doesn't quite get how his phone got connected to the elevator's line, but is gonna go with it anyways. he finishes by saying koga will finish their battle in 5 minutes.

the final caption says: Next issue, The strongest tag formation!!

well, isn't that just lovely... rika is carrying sora's child. i have a funny feeling that her kid will be just like ikki. anyways, like i said, absolutely nothing happened plot wise or battle wise. just drama and people arguing over what to do. at least next week's chapter seems promising since it'll focus on koga's battle that will supposedly go on for only another 5 minutes... which translates to maybe 5 chapters of fighting, give or take.

Not too sure about this one.
oyos

my laptop is fixed, yay!! i can connect to internetz without mooching~

- ikki makes his attack, pile tornado, at loki and starting things off for this battle. the entire battle is being relayed onto a huge screen for the audience to enjoy, paper airplane guy acting as commentator. agito is pissed at ikki's haste, thinking about how koga doesn't really know much about their opponents abilities. of course, agito proves to be right as loki shows that he was able to withstand/stop ikki's attack.

- loki does the usual opponent/antagonist spiel of gauging the protagonist; commenting on how ikki had a good sense in taking plane #1 since it'll be the first to take off and giving ikki the chance for a pre-emptive. loki activates his sword (by the way, the runes on his blade from hilt to tip, awakening-strength-victory-self) and unleashes his own attack that creates a double cyclone "sleipnir, cyclone destiny" which blows ikki off the plane. loki states that ikki is not the only one who can ride the wind road.

- paper airplane guy is talking about the origins of the name sleipnir (apparently the logo/emblem has it spelled 'sleipnire') anyways, buccha realizes that sleipnire are all king level wind riders and realize just how much of an advantage they have over koga in this battle because of it. kazu makes an attempt to help ikki, but nott-dagr appears before kazu for a moment and stops him. kazu is stopped and contemplates over the abilities of nott-dagr.

- as ikki is falling toward the ocean, he realizes the difference in levels between koga and sleipnire. kazu urges for ikki to use his parachute, but ikki has an inner monologue about himself as well as ringo and her always being there for him and how it should have been obvious to him. ikki saves himself by pushing against the winds and jumping onto the bridge. paper airplane guy asks his companion commentator, nazare-san (i think its the other fighter from jiggy's training center w/ a wig and costume), to give a call on ikki's status since he hasn't pulled open his parachute but he's on the bridge (which is not necessarily the ground). nazare-san gives a 'safe' for ikki so all members of both teams are still in play.

- ikki is still thinking about ringo, feeling bad for not realizing her feelings sooner. anyways, while ikki is still in the battle, paper airplane guy wonders how he will be able to re-enter the battle from where he's at. agito feels a little better in now better understanding their opponents abilities. agito doesn't care about whether they actually fight, so long as he is still remaining by the end (and win). agito also mentions something about ikki, while not really knowing what's up, he suspects there's something that's motivating ikki and therefore will not use the parachute (or getting knocked out of the battle).

- back at the tower, mikan is pissed and demanding ringo to explain something again. ringo makes the decision that rika (ringo is now regarding her as a mere person and not as their sister) does not exist in this world, that she never existed from the beginning and that they will fight as such (in other words, ringo decided as the leader to abandon rika and that they will keep the battle in the tower)

wow, ringo must be so conflicted right now, though it is the more prudent choice for sf to make. if ringo is taking it this hard, i can only imagine what kiric is going through... i find it ironic that mikan is against this decision since long before, she was willing to take out ringo if she kept helping koga too much.

oh yeah, air gear is on a week break

oh no ringo :(

IKKI JUST FUCK HER ALREADY IF YOU WANT TO JEEZ
